In honour of The Great British Bake Off starting tonight (very excited), this weeks instagram love is The Boy Who Bakes, by the lovely Edd Kimber (winner of the first series). We had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks ago, when we popped up at Druid Street Market, and we were thrilled when he bought some of our stoneware and vintage plates! The above is his steamed orange honey and pistachio pudding, which looks heavenly!
As fans of smoothies, we are always freezing our fruits and we love Edd's simple tip of placing them on a tray until they are frozen, before placing them in freezer bags so they don't stick together. At the moment we have a frozen fruit block so will definitely be doing it this way in future!
