Moira Neilson founded Paleolochic in 2008. Based in Mallorca Spain, Moira has a passion for fabrics, colours, textile design and the mediterranean way of life. Her love of home decor was influenced by her mother who loved to redecorate their family home depending on the seasons mood.
She is inspired by traditional crafts, everyday elements, nature and her mediterranean environment where they have a great tradition of weaving and basket making from natural materials including cotton cord which Moira buys from a centenary old shop on the Island and is one of the last stores left.
Her cotton range started as a rug project which Moira developed into a homeware accessories collection, playing with different shapes, forms and colours.
