Last week we went on a mini sourcing trip to Porto, and stayed in the Vincci Porto hotel. It's a stunning 1930's building which used to be a fish market many years ago and has been beautifully converted. It has the most amazing foyer, one huge open space (the below shows a quarter of the size), with all the original windows and features mixed with a modern aesthetic, which makes this a truly wonderful space! We love visiting Porto and highly recommend a visit, if you go out of season, you can get cheap flights and stay in lovely places for reasonable prices. The city is beautiful, with inspiring architecture and patterned tiles everywhere and there are so many delicious places to eat, you can enjoy Pastel de Nata for breakfast (Portuguese custard tarts)!
We met some incredibly talented people, who all have such passion for their specialist product areas, and there are new exciting things in development, to be launched later this year...
